What makes your pizza special?
We make Neapolitan-style pizza in an imported, traditional wood-burning brick oven. Our dough is fermented for three days, creating a light, airy, and flavorful crust with beautiful charring.
What size are your pizzas?
We offer 12" personal-sized pizza only.
How does your menu work?
Our menu is build-your-own style. Choose a classic pizza — Margherita, Bianca, or Marinara — and customize it with toppings. For large groups and events, we recommend pre-ordering at least one week in advance.
How many pizzas should I order?
We recommend 1 pizza per person, or 1 pizza for 2 kids.
Do you have vegan options?
Yes, start with a Marinara and customize it as you'd like.
Do you have gluten-free options?
No, we currently do not offer gluten-free pizza.
Do you use products with peanuts, soy, eggs, tree-nuts, fish, shellfish, or sesame?
No
Do you offer anything other than pizza?
No, we offer Neapolitan-style pizza only.
Do you host group events and private parties?
Yes, we regularly host groups, company outings, celebrations, field trips, and private events.
How many people can you seat?
We have outdoor seating for over 100 people.
What beverages do you offer?
We offer water, soda, wine, prosecco, and beer.
How do I book a group event or place a large order?
Send us your request including the date, number of guests, and preferred pizza combinations. We will confirm the booking, add it to our calendar, schedule appropriate staff, and send you an electronic invoice. A deposit is required.
Do you offer discounts for groups?
Yes, we may offer a discount for large group events and parties.
Where are you located?
We are located on Parade Ground on Governors Island in New York City.
Because you are open “weather permitting” how do I know when you are open?
We may not open if the weather report forecasts a lot of rain or it is raining in the morning. We make this decision at 9am. Check our Instagram account @pizzeriafantastica where we will post a notice that we have closed/not opened due to weather.
